Would love to know what you consider to be some of the best books for preschool kids…I’m researching Reach Out and Read, a program that partners pediatric clinicians, children 6 months to 5 years, and books.
I’ll start the list off with The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Eating the Alphabet (am I in need of a meal?), and Animalia.

Since I am starting to get visitors to the site (welcome!), thought I would make sure everyone knows that this is a work-in-progress at the moment. Sites still need to be organized, summarized, and tested. There are more sites to add and blog features to learn – categorizing, anyone?…Would love any feedback!

Welcome!
“An embarassment of riches”…this phrase seemed to pop up everywhere, in relation to almost anything this past year. Like one of the many weeds in my garden, here it is popping up as the opening of my new blog.
For teachers, the web offers an “embarrassment of riches” in terms of content for classroom use, professional development opportunities, collaboration, and community. What teachers often lack and can’t find on the web, is TIME. This site is intended to be the first stop for a busy teacher in the quest for information. This site will mainly house links to some of the best free, education-related websites. While trips off the beaten path are often the best ones, a short description will be provided to help allieviate needless “travel”.
Please feel free to leave any suggestions/feedback/favorite sites.
